Medellin has gone through huge transformations in the past decade. Mostly known for its notoriety in the cocaine trade, the city is actively working to change its image and perception to the outside world.
The area of El Poblado has lots of restaurants and cafes but felt way too touristy for me. We also visited Park Arvi which is above the city. Part of the experience is taking the tram up to the park. The tram is one of the reasons Medellin was voted as one of the most innovative cities.
Another fun visa was to Parque Explora. It reminded me of the Exploratorium in San Francisco with all of the interactive displays. Grab a friend and have some fun!
