I only spent 2 nights in Manila – one passing through on my way to Coron and another the night before I left the Philippines. There is tons of shopping, good night life and terrible traffic. Z Hostel is a great place to stay – very social and has an awesome roof deck with views of the city. It’s located in Makati which one of the nice areas of the city and looks a lot like Singapore.
